Five tourism villages in Jawa Tengah have made it into the category of the 75 best tourist villages of the 2023 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI). Quoted by Visit Central Java from the video uploaded on @awarddesawisataindonesia on Wednesday (22/3), the 5 Tourism Villages namely Besani Tourism Village (Batang Regency), Sidowarno Tourism Village (Klaten Regency), Pekunden Tourism Village (Banyumas Regency), Conto Tourism Village (Wonogiri Regency), and Sambongrejo Tourism Village (Blora Regency).
The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, said that the 75 Best Tourism Villages had gone through a series of curated assessments by the jury of 5 classifications of tourist villages and data completeness through Jadesta. The number of participants in ADWI 2023 reached 4,573 tourist villages. The next series of ADWI 2023 activities is a direct review and assessment by the Jury of the 75 Best Tourism Villages.

PEKUNDEN TOURISM VILLAGE
Pekunden Village in Banyumas District, Banyumas Regency, is a creative-based tourism village.
