Exciting Camping In Germanggis Banyumas

In recent years, mount climbing has been interesting to people. There are those who go there for fun and for surviving in the middle of the forest. They will buy any kind of climbing equipment. So, the mountain which was so silent and quiet among the trees and birds now becomes so lively and crowded with visitors.

The trend of mount climbing makes many camp areas open. We do not need to climb so far to enjoy nature at a height by camping. The facilities in the camping area are already complete. There is equipment for cooking, toilets, and mushola. Even the tent is available.

This camping area is located on a hill or on a mountain slope. We can mention the camping area in Mount Slamet. One of the camping areas in Germanggis at Curug Cipendok Street, Karangtengah, Cilongok, Banyumas. The location is near Cipendok Waterfall, around ten minutes away.

The road to Germanggis is well asphalted. However, we have to be careful with some narrow ways, and sharp and incline turns. The entrance fee in Germanggis is 10,000 IDR per person.

Of course, we can go camping. Germanggis has a wide camping area with whole camping facilities. Visitors can bring their tents or rent the tents. The rent charge starts from 50,000 IDR per night. While the camping plot rent charge is 30,000 IDR per tent.

The visitors not only can stay in the tent but also rent the stilt house or homestay there. The stilt house rent is 200,000 IDR per night and the homestay rent starts from 500,000 IDR per night. The facilities that are offered by the tent, stilt house, and homestay would be various. The visitors can choose where to stay as they like depending on the budget and taste.

There is also a hall for visitors who come in a group to hold an event. The parking lot is also clearly wide with the 24-hour-security-service. Also, there is a canteen there.

Staying in Germanggis is so fun because of the nice view of Purwokerto from there. The haze and cool air will wake us up in the morning. At noon, the clear sky and bright sun will warm our bodies accompanied by the breeze from shady trees. Then, you will have a quiet and peaceful evening. Surely, the night will be beautiful with the light from downtown Purwokerto and the pretty stars.

Plus, there are selfie spots available. The iconic one is the giant mangosteen statue. The visitors can just take pictures there by paying the entrance fee.
