Four Central Java Representatives Reach The Top 30 Of The Wonderful Indonesia Awards 2025
Central Java once again demonstrates outstanding achievements in tourism by successfully sending four representatives into the Top 30 of the Wonderful Indonesia Awards 2025. This award event, organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, aims to appreciate stakeholders who have made significant contributions to the development of Indonesian tourism.
The four representatives from Central Java consist of Sendangasri Tourism Village in Rembang Regency, nominated in the Best Tourism Village category; The Pikas Artventure in Banjarnegara Regency and Tambi Agrotourism in Wonosobo Regency, both nominated in the Best Tourist Attraction category; and Lerep Tourism Village in Semarang Regency, selected as the Best Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group).
After the Top 30 announcement, the judging team conducted on-site visits to verify data, assess the potential and uniqueness of each location, and observe the implementation of programs according to the established evaluation indicators. The winners were determined through a plenary meeting that considered the results of field verification and validation, including video recordings, photos, supporting documents, and additional explanations from the judging panel. This process ensures that every finalist truly meets the quality standards and innovation in tourism development.
The Wonderful Indonesia Awards 2025 is an open contest program that emphasizes dedication, synergy, and contributions from various parties ranging from the central government to local communities. Through this award, it is hoped that an innovative, sustainable, inclusive, and globally competitive tourism ecosystem will be created.
