The parking area on the slope of Sikunir Hill can accomodate tens to hundreds of vehicles. For those who want to stay a night on the slope of Sikunir Hill, the best choice is setting a tent here. Near the parking area, there is a wide space for setting a tent. Plus, the location directly faces Cebong Lake.

One of the natural wonders offered by Sikunir Hill is the golden sunrise. Reputedly, the golden sunrise in Sikunir Hill is said to have the best charm in Southeast Asia. If you want to enjoy this beautiful moment, you should go hiking start from 04:00 to 05:00 AM.

It takes only 30 - 45 minutes to reach the top of Sikunir Hill. If you just want to go hiking slowly and enjoy the nature, it takes about an hour to reach the top.

Relax, the hiking path to Sikunir Hill is not extreme but has a clear and easy path for tourists. 

There is also stair path in Sikunir Hill to make tourists get easier to reach the top. You can hold the wooden or iron handgrip so that you do not slip on the up or down the hill. Along the hiking track, safety borders and signage are directing the way to the top.

Although it sounds easy, you cannot belittle since you need a great physical perfoma. It is a must to wear jacket, gloves, or hat so you can deal with the cool atmosphere there. Plus, bring the water and snacks for accompanying your trip.

Your trip will be worthed when you reach the top of Sikunir Hill. The beauty of sunrise from the east will welcome you. The golden sunrise will vanish your tiresome. The amazing view will hypnotized anyone coming so they do not want to go home. 

Beside the golden sunrise, Sikunir Hill also offers you the best scenery of 8 mountains. There are views of Mount Prau, Mount Sindoro, Mount Sumbing which can be seen clearly in your sight. Then, there are views of Mount Merapi, Mount Merbabu, Mount Lawu, Mount Slamet, and other mountains which you can see a far.

You can see those mountains in one condition : the clear weather. If the weather is cloudy, you can only see one or two mountains. Also, Cebong Lake will be seen from the top of Sikunir Hill.

Having satisfied with the charms, you can climb down and take a rest in some stalls in the parking area. You can taste the special food in Dieng such as confection Carica, french fries, boiled potatoes, or other snacks. Plus, you have to bring some souvenirs home. There are t-shirts, hats, or scarfs.

The facility in Sikunir Hill is already complete. There are toilets along the climbing path, Mushola, and rest areas.
