Tasting A Genuine Culinary – Soto Gudangan Ungaran

Soto and gudangan are the easiest culinary found in Jawa Tengah. Soto is known as a dish with soup and gudangan is filled with vegetables. People know those two separate dishes. However, how does it taste when those two menus are combined? Curious? A food stall in Ungaran has it.

 

The food stall is Warung Makan Soto Gudangan “Sogud” Bu Kusnin in MT Haryono Street. This stall is so famous because it offers a unique and unimagined menu. The taste is so delicious and will make whoever tasting it addicted. The yellowish soup of soto with fresh beef is well-mixed with urap gudangan. The taste is so genuine and savory. Being served warm makes soto gudangan tastes “sogud” (so good).

 

This dish is often called veggie soto since it has various vegetables as toppings. The toppings are bean sprouts, green onions, kenikir leaves, long beans, spinach, and fried onions. Are you drooling right now?

 

Besides the vegetables, soto gudangan also has tender beef and chewy koyor in it. You can add fries such as fried tempeh mendoan or crackers.

You can enjoy soto gudangan for only IDR 13.000 per portion. The fries are only IDR 1.000 per item. Also, you can order beverages like ice oranges, ice coffee, ice tea, and sachet drink only IDR 2.000 – 4.000.

 

For your information, you may order soto and gudangan as two menus or not being mixed. Plus, there are other menus such as ramesan, mangut, and stir-fried vegetables. Warung Soto Gudangan Bu Kusnin opens every day except Sunday on 7 AM – 2 PM. (Nico)
