Buka Luwur Makam Sunan Kudus
The tradition begins with the replacement of the tomb’s covering cloth, a public sermon on the night of the 10th of Muharram, and ten days of tahlil (prayers). The highlight of the event is the distribution of nasi jangkrik (rice wrapped in teak leave) and luwur cloth, symbolizing blessings and togetherness.
