SADRANAN CEPOGO

The Sadranan tradition in Cepogo is an ancestral cultural heritage observed ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, usually between the 10th and 21st of Sha’ban. This generations-old tradition serves as a moment of togetherness, as residents visit ancestral graves while carrying tenong filled with food. After a communal prayer, the community shares a meal as a symbol of gratitude and unity. Residents also open their homes to welcome guests from various regions in a warm and family-oriented atmosphere.
