CARICA PODANGMAS

In 1980, Carica Podangmas came into existence with the mission of processing the local potential of carica fruit which at that time was still widely wasted and mainly to become a new source of economic improvement for the community, especially as an additional income for housewives in the neighborhood. Realizing the great potential of carica, Mrs. Sri Sutarti Piet Sumarto was moved to introduce carica so that it can be accepted and utilized by the wider community. With good intentions, Carica Podangmas was officially established on November 28, 1981 and continues to grow until today. Located in Manggisan Asri, RT.5/RW.5, Mudal, Mojotengah Sub-district, Wonosobo Regency, which started as a home-based business until now has grown rapidly into a legal manufacturer and has been marketed to various big cities such as Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, and Semarang. Until now, Carica Podangmas is still faithful to realize its original mission by providing support to the carica processing industry in Wonosobo which is currently growing and continues to innovate in response to the times and environmental changes.
