Excellent! Five Jawa Tengah Tourism Villages Receive The 2023 Indonesian Tourism Village Award

Five tourist villages in Jawa Tengah won the 2023 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI).

Each Pekunden Tourism Village in Banyumas Regency won 2nd Place in the Pioneering Tourism Village Category and Sidowarno Tourism Village in Klaten Regency won 4th Place in the Souvenir Category. As for the Conto Tourism Village in Wonogiri Regency and Sambongrejo Tourism Village in Blora Regency, they won the Runner Up for the Developing Tourism Village category.

Then, Besani Tourism Village in Batang Regency successfully won two awards, namely Champion of Hope for the Institutional and CHSE Categories and the Longest Opak Muri Record Award.

The award was given by Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy along with his staff on Sunday night (27/8/2023) at the Tanah Airku Theatre, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta.

The Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Jawa Tengah Province congratulated the five tourist villages on their achievements. This achievement is in line with the commitment of the Jawa Tengah Provincial Government to encourage the progress of Tourism Villages in Jawa Tengah. (Admin)
