Local Wisdom of Sedulur Sikep Samin

Visitors can learn about speech or wise advice from the Sedulur Sikep elder, Mbah Pramugi Prawiro Widjojo. While sitting enjoying traditional village snacks such as gethuk, boiled sweet potato, and boiled peanuts, tourists can listen to stories about the history of the teachings of life and the traditions of Sedulur Sikep from Mbah Pramugi at the Agung Samin Hall.

Before stepping foot in Samin Village, visitors learn to wear a samin iket or headband (udeng) and see traditional arts attractions, such as drumblek and Klothek Lesung, music from a rice pounder.
