Pagak Village Is Nominated For BCA Tourism Village Award 2021
The nominations for the BCA Desa Wisata Award were just announced on Monday (7/6). Pagak Tourism Village in Purwareja Klampok District managed to enter the top 5 for the category of Creative Tourism Village.
The Head of Pagak Village, Sudarwo, when confirmed on Tuesday (8/6) yesterday admitted that during the pandemic, Pagak Tourism Village was greatly affected. "It's as if the pulse of tourism has stopped, but we have to get up and remain optimistic, so we and the management of the Tourism Villages participated in the 2021 BCA Tourism Village Award and entered the top 20 in the category of Creative-based Tourism Villages," he said.
Sudarwo and all the managers of Pagak Tourism Village also ask for support and blessings from Banjarnegara Regional Government and the entire community so that Pagak Tourism Village becomes the champion.
"Like Dawet Ayu who has carved a fragrant image for Banjarnegara," he hoped.
This was agreed by the Pagak Tourism Village Manager, Pradikta Dimas. He is very grateful and asks for support so that he can go through the next process.
"In a series of schedules that have been arranged, we will go through a coaching stage for 2 days, then visiting and direct assessments are carried out at the location and the final process for determining the winner is the presentation of Pagak Tourism Village Profile with all its potential, while the championship for each nomination is announced July 9, 2021," he added.
The BCA Desa Wisata Award is an effort to encourage rural tourism communities to continue to innovate after the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration has been open since last April. In addition to Pagak Tourism Village, three tourist villages in Jawa Tengah also managed to become the top 20 nominations, namely Nadulang Tourism Village in the Nature-Based Tourism Village category, Karangturi Tourism Village in the Culture-Based Tourism Village category, and Tingkir Lor Tourism Village in the category and Digital-Based Tourism Village.
