CU AN KIONG CHINESE TEMPLE

Cu An Kiong Chinese Temple is located on Dasun street No. 19, Soditan Village, Lasem, was founded in the 15th century. At that time, the Chinese people built Cu An Kiong Temple using teak wood, even the pillars of the temple are two teak woods that have never been replaced until now. The name “Cu An Kiong” means the Palace of Compassionate Tranquility and the main hall contains the Tian Shang Sheng Mu altar. At one of the doors of this temple, there are two doors, each of which has a picture of two Chinese Lasem figures who teach batik to the residents, namely Bi Nang Un and his wife, Na Li Ni.
