DIENG PLATEAU
Dieng was originated from Sansekerta. Di means high place and Hyang that means heaven. Therefore, Dieng means the mountains where Gods and Goddesses live. Located at the height of 2.093 meters above sea level, it has fresh and cool air with the temperature is 10-150 degree of Celsius. Dieng can also be translated from Javanese language Adi tur daeng which the meaning is beautiful and unique, where Dieng has specialty and uniqueness that make it different from other regencies and municipalities.
