HOK LING BIO CHINESE TEMPLE

Hok Ling Bio Temple is located close to Menara Kudus, precisely in Langgar Dalem Village (Kudus Kulon), Kota District. This temple was founded around the XV century which stands on an area of 611 square meters with a building area of 300.8 square meters, and has a length of 16.5 m, a width of 16 m and a height of 18 m. The condition of the temple is well maintained and is still used as a place of worship to this day. The management of the pagoda is carried out by the Nyoo Thiam Huk. This temple building faces west, with decorative motifs in the form of lions and dragons. In 1889 and 1976, this pagoda underwent rehabilitation. At the front (entrance), there are a pair of lion statues and a pair of Kilin. Kilin is a mythological animal in Chinese society.
