JURUG PARK & ZOO
This park is an animals and rare plants conservation used for the learning and training facilities for students of high school and university. Jurug is located by Bengawan Solo River, on Jalan Ir. Sutami No. 109 Surakarta, around 5 kilometers from the downtown and able to be reached by public transportation or private vehicles. There are monument and a building for show in that area. The building is usually used for Keroncong show to commemorate Gesang, the maestro of Keroncong. This area is also equipped with show stage, playground for children, water tour, souvenirs kiosks, restaurants, and etc.
