PLAOSAN TEMPLE
Candi Plaosan is located on Jl. Candi Plaosan, Plaosan Lor, Bugisan, Prambanan District, Klaten Regency. This temple complex combines Hindu and Buddhist architecture and is situated in the village of Bugisan, 5 kilometers from Prambanan Temple. The temple was built by Rakai Pikatan in the 11th century as a gift to his wife, Pramudyawardani, who was a Buddhist. The site is divided into two parts; Plaosan Lor (north) and Plaosan Kidul (south).
