PORTUGUESE FORT
Located in Banyumani Village, Donorejo District, The Portuguese fort is a historical building. The fort was built in 1632 by the Kingdom of Mataram during the reign of Sultan Agung Hanyokrokusumo in collaboration with the Portuguese who at that time was at odds with the Dutch VOC. In addition to historical tourism, the area around the fort also offers natural attractions such as beaches and panoramas of the Java sea.
