RONGGOWARSITO GRAVE
The tomb of Ronggowarsito is located in Dusun Kedon, Palar, Trucuk, Klaten, Central Java.
Ronggowarsito himself was a prominent literary figure and renowned oracle highly respected by the kings of Java. Ronggowarsito was born in Yosodipura, Surakarta, Central Java, with the given name Bagus Burhanyang and passed away in 1873 at the age of 71. In one of his final wishes, Ronggowarsito requested to be buried near the grave of his grandfather, Sudiro Dirjo Gantang, in the complex where Ronggowarsito's tomb is now located.
