SEMARANG TAWANG RAILWAY STATION
Tawang Station was designed by a Dutch architect Sloth-Blauwboer and was inaugurated on June 1, 1914. Previously in 1911, there was a groundbreaking ceremony by Anna Wilhermina van Lennep, a daughter of the Chief Engineer at NISM. The location of Tawang Station is quite strategic since it is located on the north side of Kota Lama Semarang area, the center of trade in Semarang. Although it is in a strategic location, it is on an unstable land area. To overcome this, before the construction was carried out, soil compaction was carried out using concrete slabs for months.
