SEMEDO MUSEUM

An ancient trace is always interesting to explore. Like in Semedo Museum, which is located in Semedo Village, Tegal Regency. In this museum, the ancient fossils found in Semedo are estimated to be older than the fossils found in Indonesia. The results of research by paleontologists, archaeologists, geologists, and anthropologists, show that the Semedo Ancient Site provides factual data on the evolution of humans, their culture, and their environment since at least 1.5 million years ago. The findings of fauna fossils around Semedo Hills illustrate the long life span of Semedo.
