SENTONO CAVE

The beauty and uniqueness of Sentono Cave which is located in the Bengawan Solo valley area, Mendenrejo Village, Kradenan Blora District, creates a sense of curiosity for visitors to explore the history of the cave which is still trusted by the surrounding community.

Based on several stories from the residents of Sentono Hamlet, Mendenrejo Village, it is believed that in ancient times there was a story of a small hermitage called "Sentono" under the leadership of Ki Blacak Ngilo. Blacak Ngillo is a former Majapahit soldier who fled during a civil war for power or the paregreg war.

The Sentono area itself is located on the banks of the Solo River, making it strategic for agriculture. It is not surprising that Sentono and its surroundings have experienced extraordinary developments. Even Blacak Ngilo is treated like a king by his followers.
