When walking through the Chinatown area of Semarang, you can visit an old Chinese temple in Lombok alley. This temple was built in 1746 and has complete facilities for worship. Every time before the Chinese New Year, the Tay Kak Sie temple holds a tradition of the Siang Sin Giu Hokri ceremony to take the gods to heaven.
