TEK HAY KIONG CHINESE TEMPLE
Historically, the Chinese Tek Hay Kiong did a restoration in 1837. Captain Tan Koen Hway with his friends in Tegal built a pagoda called Tek Hay Kiong or Tek Hay Cin Jin Palace. It is located on Jl. Gourami No.8. It is used as a place of worship for the Chinese in Tegal. Currently, the Tek Hay Kiong Temple is still active as a place of worship for the Chinese community in Tegal. So it's still in good condition. Especially if you have entered the Lunar New Year, there are lots of interesting agendas that can make tourism assets for the Tegal area.
