THE GLAGAH WANGI MUSEUM

The Glagah Wangi Museum is part of the Department of Education and Culture of Demak Regency, namely the UPTD of the Glagah Wangi Museum. Located next to the Demak Regency Tourism Office on Sultan Fatah Street No. 53 Demak, the building used is a Cultural Conservation building with a gladag floor, namely a floor made of thick teak wood and a roof made of shingle. The objects stored in the Glagah Wangi Museum are historical objects left by the Sultanate of Bintoro Demak, such as the pillar of the Demak Palace, the shingle of the Great Mosque, photographs of the head of the Demak Regency, genthong woro wiri, fiddle of Kyai Gareng, fossils, puppets created by Kanjeng Sunan Kalijaga and many more. The Glagah Wangi Museum is a place for educational tours for kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students. In addition to the museum of the Great Mosque of Demak. By introducing them to students early, they will love their ancestors so that they will be remembered and respected.
