Wadaslintang basin is located between the regency of Wonosobo and the regency of Kebumen. The main purposes of this basin are as electricity energy source, fishing industry and field irrigation. In Wadaslintang basin, there is not only fish but sometimes there are some reptiles like giant lizards in the clean water of the basin. Besides those three main purposes above, it is also functioned as an interesting tourism spot. Around Wadaslintang basin, there are also tourism spots like Kalianget Somagede, meditation site, and Curug Winong.
