BUKA LUWUR TRADITION
The caretaker of the Tomb of Syech Maulana Ibrahim Magribi in Candisari Village, Ampel District, holds the Luwur Opening tradition every last Friday in the month of Suro. This tradition is referred to by residents as Sadranan with one of the processes, the replacement of lurup cloth in several graves in the complex.
