3 Events On Batik Day 2022 In Jawa Tengah
The commemoration of Batik Day in 2022 is on Sunday (2/10). It would be so fun to celebrate it with families. Visit Jawa Tengah team has summarized special events of Batik Day in Jawa Tengah: Blora Regency, Surakarta City, and Pati Regency.
BLORA REGENCY
Blora Fashion Week will be held from September 30th to October 2nd, 2022, along Pemuda Street at 7 AM. On the first day, there is a fashion show of creations from designers Nenni Rahmadiyanti, Melati Soedjarwo, and Lanny Amborowati. Besides, madams of Forkopimda (regional leaders communication forum) and their husbands will join the fashion show. On the next day, there will be a fashion show by the Department Head of Blora Regency and District wives with their husbands. Also, there is a Fashion Show Competition with the theme of Batik on the Street for children, teens, and adults. For registration, please contact +6289 5372 817 014. On the last day, Blora Fashion Week will start at 6 AM with exercises, healthy walking, entertainment, a fashion show by Fashion Vocational High School, and a Fashion Show Competition by OPD (regional organization) and districts in Blora Regency.
SURAKARTA CITY
Surakarta City commemorates Batik Day through an event In Kebaya with The First Lady. This event will be held on Sunday (2/10) from 1.30 - 6 PM on Slamet Riyadi Street with the route starting from in front of Loji Gandrung to Ndalem Wuryoningratan / House of Danar Hadi. Besides the kebaya parade, visitors can watch batik dance and MSME's bazaar. Plus, this event also supports Kebaya Goes to UNESCO and the establishment of National Kebaya Day. PATI REGENCY
Do you know that Bakaran Batik from Pati has been around since the 14 Century? On Batik Day, Bakaran Wetan Tourism Village holds an event of Bakaran Batik Festival 2022. The event series starts from October 2nd to 30th. There is the Batik Festival, Fashion Show, The Election of Bakaran Batik Ambassador, Traditional Art Festival, and Cultural Carnival.
