Dieng Culture Festival 2023 Officially Canceled
Jawa Tengah Province is known for its natural beauty and cultural diversity. One culture that is still sustainable today is the tradition of cutting dreadlocks for Dieng children at a cultural event, the Dieng Culture Festival.
Dieng Culture Festival is one of Jawa Tengah's leading events in the Top 10 Kharisma Event Nusantara of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. Dieng Culture Festival has become a Dieng tourism magnet. This event always attracts thousands of visitors.
In 2023, the Dieng Culture Festival was supposed to enter its 14th implementation, but the Banjarnegara Regency Government has officially announced that the 2023 Dieng Culture Festival will be canceled.
This is because of the restoration of 3 (three) location points, namely the Arjuna Temple Area, Aswatama terminal, and the Sikidang Crater Area by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. These three locations are central points of the Dieng Culture Festival.
For the convenience and safety of visitors to the Dieng area, the 2023 Dieng Culture Festival is temporarily not being held while preparing for next year's implementation. The hope is that the 2024 Dieng Culture Festival will run better in the midst of a more organized area, to give a good impression to all parties. (Admin)
