Dieng Kaleidoscope Photo Contest is a competition that presents photographic works that tell about geographical characters; spiritual values, local wisdom, daily behaviour; natural biodiversity, nature, social, and cultural phenomena; other widely recognized icons in the Dieng Plateau area.

Timeline:

  • 14 February - 5 March 2022: Registration and Work Submission via bit.ly/lombakaleidoskopdieng2022
  • 11 March 2022: 20 Nominee Announcement
  • 14 March 2022: Winner Announcement

Total price: Rp. 11 million

General terms and conditions:

  1. This contest is open for public and free of charge.
  2. Photo submitted is photo that have never won a Photo Contest and is not being submitted into a photography competition.
  3. Participants must be fully responsible for the submitted work. Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jawa Tengah is not responsible for anything regarding the photo sent in the event of a claim for ownership/copyright/use rights to photos sent from any party.
  4. Photo must not contain political, racial, and pornographic content.
  5. The winner's photo becomes the property of the Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jawa Tengah and the copyright remains with the photographer.
  6. Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jawa Tengah reserves the right to disqualify participants and/or winners who are deemed to have violated part or all of the terms and conditions of this competition.
  7. Announcement of the nominees and winners will be published on social media Instagram @VisitJawaCentral and @DisporaparJateng.
  8. The nominee must send the original photo file that is included in this competition as photo verification.
  9. The decision of the jury is final and cannot be contested.

Particular terms and Conditions:

  1. Photo that is submitted in the competition must be taken in the Dieng Plateau area.
  2. Photo can be taken with any type of digital camera (DSLR, mirrorless, Smartphone, Drone, Action Cam and others)
  3. Participants must have original high-resolution file for verification if their photos are declared to be winner nominee.
  4. Digital processing is allowed without changing the authenticity of the object and/or removing/changing elements in the photo.
  5. Assessment Criteria: Originality and ideas, Human Interest, and Photography Techniques
  6. Participants must register via the link bit.ly/lombakaleidoskopdieng2022 no later than March 5, 2022 at 23.59 WIB.
  7. Photo shoot in 2019 – present.
  8. Follow and tag Instagram @VisitJawaTengah and @disporaparjateng.
  9. Photos must be uploaded to Instagram with the format: FOTO TITLE_ LOCATION_YEAR OF THE BRIEF FOTO_CAPTION with the hashtags #LombaFotoKaleidoskopDieng2022 #VisitJawaTtengah #JatengGayeng #Dieng #PesonaIndonesia
  10. One photo in one upload.
  11. Winners are entitled to receive prizes in the form of cash, souvenirs, and e-certificates.
  12. Prize tax is borne by the Winner.
  13. The nominees and the first 10 registrants will get interesting souvenirs.
  14. All participants who participate in this Photo Contest are deemed to have read and understood well, and agree to the terms and conditions of the Photo Contest as stated.
