4. CHENG HO FESTIVAL (Semarang City / 19-20 August 2020)

Cheng Hoo Festival is an annual celebration of the Semarang Chinese community to commemorate the arrival of Sam Poo Tay Djien (Admiral Zheng He). This event is usually held Iin August. The event begins with bringing a statue of gods by foot from Tay Kak Sie temple in China Town to Sam Poo Kong temple in Gedong Batu. This festival is also enlivened with art performances.

 

5. INDONESIAN UMBRELLA FESTIVAL (Prambanan Temple, Klaten Regency / 4-6 September 2020)
Indonesian Umbrella Festival is a folk festival since 2014. This event explores local wisdom with contemporary art and involves local and international participants, such as creative communities, traditional arts, artists, photographers, designers and others.
