It is Kumpe Lake in Gununglurah, Cilongok, Banyumas, one of the lakes on the slope of Mount Slamet which is hidden but so pretty. It is named Kumpe because there are kumpe plants (Huperzia) around the lake. People said that kumpe only grows at Kumpe Lake and Kaligua Brebes.

To reach Kumpe Lake, you will take around an hour from downtown Purwokerto. The road to Kumpe Lake is already well asphalted. Yet, the route is quite challenging with the sharp inclines, curves, and turns on the narrow road. You have to make sure that your vehicle is ready to face the extreme route.
