Note! The 2023 Wong Gunung Festival Is Ready To Be Held, There Will Be Cultural Arts Performances Of Letto

The Wong Gunung Festival will return on 21-23 September 2023 at the Pulosari Village Field, Pemalang Regency. This event was first held in 2016 and was stopped in 2020-2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This year, the Agung Banyu Panguripan ritual will be held on Thursday (21/9/2023). The ritual begins with a procession of taking water from 7 springs, namely Suyud, Sipendok, Gombong, Silengse, Sampyang Gorang, Gondang, and Curug Ilang during the day. The water collection was carried out on the orders of the elder of Jurangmangu Village, Mr. Nuridin, by 7 warriors and led by the caretaker Eyang Sadum and accompanied by 7 members of EMU Adventure (Pulosari Nature Lovers). A joint prayer was held that evening at Jurangmangu Village.

Harmoni Wong Gunung is the highlight of the 2023 Wong Gunung Festival which will feature local and national bands. Watch Letto's special performance on September 23 at 20.00 WIB at Pulosari Field.
