Healing At Umbul Tlatar Boyolali Ecotourism

Weekends are always the moment that I look forward to because only then can I enjoy quality time with my family. After five days of struggling with various workloads, it must have left tiresome.

Like other families in general, together on weekends we usually fill with relaxing at home, cooking together, playing with your child, occasional staycation at the hotel, or most often yes a short trip for refreshing. After all, traveling doesn't have to be far and expensive. Picnicking by exploring the environment can refresh your body and soul if you can find the right place.

At the weekend, I invited little Fariz and his wife to unwind at Umbul Tlatar Boyolali ecotourism. To be honest, we were attracted there because we were tempted by the photos circulating in cyberspace. It seems cool and exciting if you can play water in Umbul Tlatar.

We traveled from Klaten for only 30 minutes. It turned out to be quite easy to get here. The word is, it is only about 4 Km from Boyolali city center to the north. We were greeted by the sound of river water and the cheerful laughter of dozens of kindergarten children who echoed through the lush artificial forests. They were busy apparently outbound. The first impression is quite beautiful, similar to the photos I saw in cyberspace.

Umbul Tlatar is located at Tentara Pelajar Street No. 2 Kebonbimo, Boyolali District, Boyolali Regency, Jawa Tengah 57316. Geographically, the location is on the slopes of Mount Merbabu. So do not be surprised if in this area there are many springs that flow freely through the layers of volcanic rocks in the soil. Umbul Tlatar's water discharge reaches 650 liters per second. So do not be surprised if the water is really abundant here.

"Daaad water, daaad water!" Little Fariz went wild when he got out of the car and saw the clear river. I pulled my hand. He could not wait to play water immediately. Seeing his behavior, I came to remember a childhood that was also exactly like that. Can not be silent if you have seen the water.
The concept of Umbul Tlatar tourism adopts the basis of education, nature conservation, and recreation of natural water use. This tourism complex was built in 2002 and occupies an area of +/- 5 hectares. Managed by Boyolali Disporapar together with local residents. The available facilities are quite complete. These include lesehan (sitting on the floor) restaurants, fishing, souvenir stalls, children's and adult swimming pools, water tourism parks, woodball fields, outbound rides, ATVs, horse rentals, a gazebo to relax and a large parking area.

Tired of playing in the river, we moved locations to the Lesbian restaurant for lunch. We are lucky. Even though it's the weekend, there aren't many visitors that afternoon so that you can still relax in the gazebo while watching your little one play in the swimming pool. And no need to wait long, various processed fish dishes that we ordered also came. There are grilled Nile tilapia, rujak (fruit salad) seasoning carp, fried catfish, and young coconut ice. Thanks to God, it feels so good.

A swimming pool or swimming pool is the main attraction for our family. Visitors are allowed to enter the water park which is full of fish. Visible tilapia, pomfret, carp, and various other freshwater fish swim to and fro in the pond with a depth of between 10-40 cm. Very shallow. The size of the fish here is not too big, tame anyway. So it is safe for children.

The Ecotourism Park of Indonesian Ethnic Water Umbul Tlatar Boyolali is suitable as a family tourism destination, hang out with friends or casual meetings with colleagues. The children play with water happily, their parents are also satisfied with various processed fish dishes.
Seeing the extraordinary potential of Umbul Tlatar ecotourism, it seems that it can still be developed with community empowerment and better management. Hopefully the water source and the ecosystem there can continue to be sustainable.

Come on! get to know and enjoy the tourism potential of our area. Greetings #JatengGayeng!
