Java Balloon Attraction 2023 Crowded By Tourists

The Java Balloon Attraction 2023 was successfully held on Sunday morning (27/8/2023). This top Jawa Tengah event has succeeded attracting thousands of tourists to Wonosobo.

Based on monitoring by the Visit Jawa Tengah team, since 06.00 a.m., visitors were seen flocking to the Kalianget Recreation Park area. Children, teenagers, adults, and the elder seem enthusiast walking towards the field where the balloon flights. The cold air did not stop them from witnessing the giant balloons flying in the Wonosobo sky.

The large area makes visitors free to choose a location to watch the hot air balloon attraction. Around 08.00 a.m., the balloons were flown by being tethered by ropes while accompanied by gamelan music. This year, 25 hot air balloons flew in 4 formations that have become the icon of Wonosobo, namely Dieng Valley, Mount Sindoro, Telaga Menjer, and Wadaslintang Reservoir.
