DISPORAPAR Of Jawa Tengah Province Will Holds Jawa Tengah Tourism Village Nomination 2023

The Department of Youth, Sports, and Tourism of Jawa Tengah Province, again, is conducting the 'Central Java Tourism Village Title' a.k.a Gelar Desa Wisata Jawa Tengah(GDWJT) in 2023. With the theme "Gotong Royong, Guyub Rukun, Hamakaryo", GDWJT 2023 represents the spirit of cooperation in tourism villages to unite, move, and work together to realize superior Jawa Tengah tourism.

GDWJT 2023 can be participated in by Tourism Villages in Jawa Tengah where each Regency/City is represented by 1 tourism village through the proposal of the local Office. Tourism villages participating in GDWJT 2023 are required to upload 4 videos to the official Youtube channel of each tourist village. The four videos will represent assessments for 4 categories, namely (1) Tourism Packages and Management of Tourism Villages; (2) Cultural Arts and Local Wisdom Attractions; (3) Souvenirs, Digital and Creative Content; and (4) Homestay and Clean Toilets.

Furthermore, the jury will conduct an online video assessment, then field verification in August 2023. The 2023 GDWJT award will take place in Banyumas Regency in September 2023 as commemorate World Tourism Day.
