BLORA SATAY

Satay is one of the top culinary in Indonesia. There are several areas that make satay as a special food. One of them is Blora City in Central Java.

There are three kinds of Blora satay, namely chicken satay, goat satay, and beef satay. Blora Satay also has its own characteristics compared to other satays. The Satay Bean seasoning is different from Madura Satay and Ponorogo Satay. Madura Satay is served with thick peanut sauce added with lime juice, and Ponorogo Satay is served in a bowl with dried peanut sauce (such as pecel seasoning) that has not been thawed. Blora Satay has a characteristic softer seasoning than other satays. In addition, the meat from Blora Satay is seasoned with garlic, sugar, and coriander first before being skewered.
