Scientifically, Carica Dieng has the Latin name Candamarcensis which belongs to the Caricaceae family. Carica is a type of papaya typical of the mountains. Carica processed products are not only marketed in the Wonosobo area, but have also penetrated regional, national, and very prospective markets to penetrate the international market. Carica Dieng has also obtained Geographical Indication Patent Rights from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia in 2012 to become a superior commodity of Wonosobo Regency, Central Java Province.
