Garang Asem
Traditional food of the North Coast of Jawa Tengah such as Semarang, Pekalongan, Demak, Kudus, and Pati. Garang Asem (Sour and Savory Chicken Soup) Kudus is one of the most famous Garang Asem in Central Java. The dish is made from chicken with coconut milk wrapped with banana leaves.
