This is it! The annual event that has been waited by all tourists. The most romantic cultural event in the country above the sky, Dieng Culture Festival 2022, will be held on September 2-4, 2022. As mentioned on the official website festivaldieng.id, Return of the Light is the theme of DCF this year as the representation of the spirit, hope, and aspiration to get up, stand, and come back shining after the tourism in the Dieng Plateau went down because of the pandemic.
On Thursday (4/8), on the official Twitter @festivaldiengid, the committee announced that the DCF package had been ready to access via the website festivaldieng.id. There is an innovation of DCF 2022 that the DCF package is sold bundling including homestay.
"Previously, there were tourists who already bought DCF tickets but they did not manage to get a homestay. Or vice versa, they already bought the homestay but did not get the ticket. So, this year, the ticket system will include the homestay," said the Chief of Pokdarwis Dieng Pandawa, Alif Faozi, on detik.com.
The DCF package starts from IDR 1,100,000 to 1,500,000 depending on the homestay which is chosen by tourists. The price also includes merchandise such as a t-shirt, batik, and caping kupluk (a traditional hat).
Besides the homestay, the committee has also prepared the camping ground below Gatotkaca Temple near Arjuna Temple, and the hills around. Tourists do not need to bring their own tent since it includes the facilities that are provided by the committee.
