Dieng Highlands has become a tourist magnet to visit Jawa Tengah. In Dieng, tourists can enjoy the sensation of a vacation with a beautiful and natural mountain atmosphere. Cool air tends to be cold, combined with charming natural charm could be the reason.


Geographically, the Dieng Highlands area is located in six districts namely Wonosobo, Banjarnegara, Batang, Pekalongan, Temanggung, and Kendal. However, more tourist attractions in Dieng are in Wonosobo and Banjarnegara.

1. Mount Prau

2. Sikunir Hill
If Mount Prau is still too high, tourists can divert the destination to Sikunir Hill which has an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level. Sikunir Hill offers the beauty of the scenery of eight mountains around it that can be seen from the top of the hill. It is like Mount Prau. Even with the golden sunrise panorama that can be called the best. 
To be able to reach Sikunir Hill, tourists must walk for 30-45 minutes from below. Take it easy, the stairs are available and the path is not as difficult as Mount Prau.


3. Cebong Lake

6. Arjuna Temple

9. Merdada Lake
The name Merdada Lake is not as popular as Warna Lake. However, the panorama presented is just as exotic. Merdada Lake is the largest lake in Dieng surrounded by potato plantations owned by residents. The location of Merdada Lake is between Pangonan Hill and Sumurup Hill.


10. Dringo Lake
Dringo Lake is suitable for tourists who want to enjoy a calm and natural atmosphere because not so many tourists know the existence of Dringo Lake. Since it is at an altitude of 2,222 masl, Dringo Lake is called the highest lake in Jawa Tengah. In addition, it is also referred to as a miniature of Ranu Kumbolo.
